It was wonderful, although i had air conditioning problems which was later sorted. The environment was friendly and the people were warm.
Wonderful pool, clean beach and lovely crepe at the poolside. This place will give you a taste of the African hospitality.
Unique Quality: Picturesque beach and pool

Use to be SHERATON

We stayed here in late june of 09. We first went to the Novotel and then decided to see this one. It looked great. Its a first class Hotel with ALL the amenities. As we arrived (7pm) it was full of people in the lobby. Once we registered (last vacant room/no reservation) we noticed at least 20 US Soldiers enter lobby.(in uniform) They had been out on trainning mission(or so they said)They were VERY nice and looked VERY tired. The hotel has an excellent bar and restaurant. This Hotel is just down the street from the NIGERIAN EMBASSY. We got our VISAS for LAGOS, NIGERIA here. you can get them WITHOUT a letter of invitation here. There was a business center with about 10 computers next to the Lobby. This is where we hired a driver with car to take us to Lagos, Nigeria.
Unique Quality: The Hotel is nice and frequented by many VIP's and International Personnel. All services were up to par. You will feel SAFE in this Hotel.

Sheraton Benin

I stayed in Sheraton for a week during my stay in Benin. Sheraton is close to 2 KM from the city centre and about a KM from the Airport. The rooms and the services are excellent. There are rooms which faces the beach and a walk is a very nice experience. The hotel has the best pool in town and also one of the best pubs in town, although a bit elite.
Food with a view

Outside restaurant of the Benin Marina Hotel. The right place for lunch. Very nice staff. Good value for money and the view is great around the poolside. Their extensive a-la-carte menu also offers indigenous african dishes. Langouste Thermidor.
Cotonou, a welcoming city

Go for the Benin Marina Hotel. It's big, it's safe, it's clean and you will have a great time there. Only 2 minutes from the airport, hotel provides shuttle. It is an oasis away from the hectic hassle of the city.
It is built on 33 acres of land with a huge seafront. Great pools and lots of sports activities. It's a bit on the old side but still the best you can get in town. Expensive, yes for some, but if you see what you get, exepensive becomes relative. Good weekendrates available.
