This lovely hotel sits on the edge of the Lagoon and my room overlooked it quite literally – the lake came right up the wall of my room. I looked out to see fishermen in small boats outside the window in the mornings and evenings and the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet. Really lovely.
I think this is probably the nicest hotel in Cotonou both for location and atmosphere, the food is great and the service really good too.
My room was quite large, comfortable very clean and with everything I needed for a comfortable 3 night stay, including bar and internet access. They also have a good laundry service.
The restaurant is on a terrace overlooking the lake and the pool and the food is really good, with an international menu including quite a few Lebanese dishes and of course fish. I had a chicken brochette with rice and tomato sauce which was really tasty.
There is a large swimming pool which is also on a terrace overlooking the Lake and is open to non-residents for a charge, but it closes at 6pm.
Unique Quality: Wonderful location overlooking the lagoon and away from the city centre noise.
Lovely terrace restaurant overlooking the lagoon.
