Woodlands 4x4 Stop: Best Outdoors...

Woodlands 4x4 Stop is a campsite where you can either stay in chalets or bring your own tent. it is on the Tati River. it has a communal bathroom, but one in great condition... its always spotless. a sparkling swimming pool...(essential in the hot climate) and very friendly staff - Linette is the lady at reception, and she is very friendly and accommodating! it is self catering, but is only a few minutes out of francistown, where one can buy any supplies or go out for a meal. it is great for a relaxing atmosphere... the owners, Mike and Ann West are great people, friendly and are able to give advice on places one should go to, or people to see, depending on your interests. The people who live next to Woodlands (the wooden pole fence with the donkey cart sign)..."No Mathata Estate".. have an amazing home, and also have a cottage that they rent out to families on a short term basis. the cottage has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (en-suite, a lounge, kitchen and dining room. the garden is ideal for children as there is a large lawn for playing on, a pool for swimming in...animals to play with, and horses to ride. i DEFINATELY recommend these two places... wow... they are fantastic!!!!!

Unique Quality: Woodlands = a great pool, clean, friendly environment

No Mathata estate = Great hospitality, woderful gardens, good for children, walled swimming pool for added privacy, the cottage itself is clean, well maintained, nicely furnished and comfortable...and... horses to ride! (My favourite!)
