Hotel Hala: The best solution in Gaoua

Situated well off the city center (~1,5km) , this is the best option in town. It is run by a Lebanese family(!!) . The hotel compound is nice but I had the impression that it was run down (difficult to struggle the african dust)
The room was spacious though spartan. The beds had mosquito nets, but the problem was that the shower room was inside (!!) the room separated only by a wall from the rest of it. Luckily there was hot water.
Breakfast adds extra to the already above average price of the room
The hotel has its own restaurant serving only foreigners as expected but we were adviced not to have a meal there.
