For businessmen this hotel is not so suitable, because it is far out of the city. But it is perfect for recreation because it is calm and in a wonderful setting.
Like in every better hotel where rich foreigners can be expected there are always some prostitutes around. But we never felt molested.
We liked the splendid view over Yaounde especially at night.
The hotel offers a nice pool, an 18-hole golf course, a good restaurant, a casino and a nightclub.

I'll start by saying that this hotel was in a great location in Limbe. It was right next to the botanical gardens and a nice walk to the beach where there is lots of seaside food and beer. Also across the street is a bakery where you can buy bread, pizza, watter, soda. Good deal, nice people and a great find.
We found this hotel in our travel guide (Brandt). It had changed since it was written about. There are about 12 bungaloos/huts. Our had tiled floor and 2 double beds, tv and bathroom. The way I see it is that hotel are just places to sleep safely because you'll be spending all your time out and about. There is a pool that I thought was kind of scummy. The Europeans were swimming in it, but it was too cold and rainy for me. There is a nice view of the ocean from the pool deck. The hotel is located on an overlook and you can hear the waves crashing.
When you walk to the beach where all the fisherman are and where there is food, walk along the path closet to the ocean and through the botanical gardens (pay fee to walk through the gardens, but don't pay to take pics).
We took a long walk through the town and it was amazing. We met a rich man educated in the US, we met a taxi driver whose sister works at the hospital I was volunteering at in this tiny village in the NW providence and we met this women who does HIV counseling in a clinic. Cameroonians love to talk!

We wanted to stay at another hotel but it was booked. Its at the end of a long road so it feels like you are away from the city. The rooms were somewhat clean but comfortable. Staff was very nice.
There was a gentleman who was selling his crafts outside the hotel. I didn't buy anything because I had no idea what good prices where. But it ended up that his were great and I should have done all my shopping with him.
Restaurant (but never ate there), nite club (but did not go). My friend got a special Peace Corps rate so many they have other similar type rates.
