Oásis Atlântico Porto Grande: Very good location

I (and two friends) stayed at the Oásis Atlântico Porto Grande for five nights in February 2011, and had absolutely nothing to complain about: Very friendly staff, clean room with a view of the town square (Praça Amilcar Cabral), nice pool area with a pool bar and gym, and a good breakfast buffet with hot and cold dishes. We didn’t have dinner at the restaurant, but did have some drinks and snacks at the main bar which was a nice place. The bar has a stage for live music, and I have heard that there could be some noise in the evenings/nights (but not during our stay).

Oásis Atlântico Porto Grande has a great location right in the centre of Mindelo, close to the old part of town, the harbour front, and several bars and restaurants. I would stay at the hotel again anytime.

Opinion of Price: more expensive than average
