the pool at the Basma Hotel
by sue_stoneIt is a 4 star hotel, which had all the mod cons. Our room was a little tired looking, but more than adequate. There is a large pool, restaurant and bar. It was well located to explore the town.
We stayed here for only one night, and the highlight of our stay was definitely the view from parts of the hotel (not from our room unfortunately) which looked over the Nile and the distant desert.
