Aswan's Best Bargain
The Marhaba is a small, clean, quiet modest hotel with friendly courteous staff. You are made to feel welcome the moment you walk in. The Marhaba has a restaurant; (the Nabry seats 250) a coffee shop/cafe (Ashry Cafe) that offers live entertainment in the evenings, 24-hour room service, laundry services, internet cafe, and a swimming pool. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning. The Marhaba offers great service at an affordable price.

Unique Quality: This hotel offers a beautiful view of the Nile and the West Bank especially at sunset you a fantastic view of the Tomb of the Nobles. I enjoyed looking out my window in the morning and watching the feluccas sailing by.

First choice to stay in Aswan
I can only praise the hotel we've stayed in Aswan. It was the best hotel through out whole trip in Egypt.
It is located right on the Cornich and has a fabulous views over Nile. It is also very near the Station.
Staff there have been more then helpful. We only had one day and one night in Aswan, but when we arrived, hotel manager arranged for us unforgettable visits to all the main attractions in Aswan, we didn't have to waste time for finding our way around.
The hotel is spotlessly clean and well maintained. Looks like its being either recently build or renovated. All the facilities in immaculate condition.
This is 3* hotel with the quality of 5*!

Catch Abu Simble flight
Are taxies easily available early morning from cruise dock at Aswan to the airport OR is it necessary to book one in advance. Can we keep our luggage at Aswan or Abu Simble airport. Our flight leaves at 9:00 AM and returns at 1:00 PM. Shall be grateful for any info. Thanks in advance.

Yes it is available. But you can also advise a taxi driver in advance, not bad and no extra payment is even required.
You may better save time and keep your luggage at the same taxi, as long as it will accompany you for the whole trip. As you are aware, you are using the domestic terminlal, and then the intrenationl (I dont know what is your itinerary in fact) Nevertheless, you can keep them safely at the hotel upon checking out before the road trip, if you have time. OR you can even contact the Airport by phone from the hotel in this conern and request their best advice according to your itinerary. Be sure they will help.
There is also a public very cheap bus, but takes longer time.

Thanks Sayed for your reply. We are taking the cruise from Luxor to Aswan, take flight to Abu Simble same day and take flight to Cairo the next day. Can you advise what it will cost to hire a taxi for whole day who will drop and pick us up for the Abu Simble flight and in the afternoon also take us to Kalabsha and Philae for the light & sound show.
