    Pleasant situation on the lake. Very close- within walking distance -from the the temple.

    Service Ok, but rooms pretty basic.

    There is a pool. The view is attractive

    A five star cruise ship, cabins of about 22m2, equiped with all the basics, on a boat.
    The restaurant and of course the outside bar is perfect for a relax journey to one of the highlights in Egypt - Abu Simbel.
    I think it is the best way to visit this area, you can go by bus or plane - but this is rather stressy

    Friendly servants - good food and expensive drinks ( depending on your wishes, it can not always be a pint of water, i'm from Belgium !
    But the views are simply unique on every inch of the borders during the trip and arriving at the temple itself is a glorious moment
    Anyhow
    - 3 decks, lower, main & upper (as usual on this kind of Nile Cruises)
    - 66 cabins each 22 m2 ( just enough for a single MALE)
    - 4 suites each 45 m2 (i was single-so no need to take this cabin)
    Private bathroom, telephone, radio, air condition, central music for each

    • I was thinking of posting all my impressions advising people of so many things they don't tell you when you book a Lake Nasser trip...

    Please be aware that I am backing her on everything because I felt the same; you have no phone line to call home (or Mom call you); you have no ATM's in the desert..., you have not enough sunscreen to avoid redness..., but:

    You have silence...

    You have lots of fauna when you go ashore and visit temples (camels, dogs, birds)

    You don't need money at all...nothing to buy

    You have the opportunity to use all your memory cards taking photos
