Excellent Food
The food and service here was excellent, and the surroundings were stylish and modern. The prawn starter was excellent, lots of big juicy prawns, i would definetly recommend having this.

I stayed at the Camel Hotel for 7 nights. I booked a deal with the hotel where you could stay for 7 nights including breakfast and have 3 days of diving. This worked out to be only 430 Euro. Pretty good deal I thought. The hotel is very conveniently situated right in the centre of Naama Bay. The hotel has two restaurants, and Indian and Italian one, a bar and rooftop bar with views of the town and mountains of the Sinai desert. Of course there is also the Camel Dive Club situated at the ground floor and they have a pool. The service in hotel, restaurants and dive club are all very good. I would recommend a stay here to anyone.
Had a fantastic time here. Picked up from the airport using the hotel's service. Staff on reception very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable with air conditioning and satellite TV.
Breakfast was buffet style with a good range of choice. Hotel has a nice swimming pool although no poolside bar, it also has it's plot on the beach about 100m walk from hotel. Dive cente is first class with a large variety of sites to dive daily. Hotel also has an excellent tandoori restaurant open in the evenings. The rooftop bar is a great place to go for a drink. Would definately recommend this hotel.
Unique Quality: Italian restaurant, tandoori Indian restaurant, bar selling good value bar snacks. Internet facilities also available.

Diving is what the red sea is all about, with over 1000 species of fish on offer and some wonderful dive sites. We went with Camel Dive club which is in the centre of naama bay. They have dive masters of all nationalities so language is never a barrier. They are also very ecologically conscious which was why we went with them. You can rent dive equipment from Camel and they also offer the usual padi courses.
Pretty darn obvious this one. The Red Sea is one of the best know sites for diving in the world. In Naama bay you will find a lot of dive shops offering trip to Ras Mohammed and the Reef. My husband did all hid diving with Camel Dive and was very happy with them, Sinai divers is also a good one from what I have heard. but there are many others to choose from. Prices are around $30 per dive.
Any recommendations for a dive company based in the Naama Bay area? I am only interested in day excursions, not live-aboard.
Will it be so busy in mid-October that I need to reserve in advance, or can I just make arrangements when I arrive?
