We stayed at Domina Coral Bay Sultan Resort from 17th May till 29th May 2007. The whole vacation was absolutely great! The only thing about it was that we had to wait for the luggage when we landed for overy 3 hours. But other than that everything was great. The hotel is a huge resort of 5 separate hotels, which differed by different levels of exclusiveness, service and included amentities. The service was great, we had non complains. Even if i try to think of one, can't find it. You have everything inside the hotel, without going out to the city. You got, a lot of restaurants, cafes, two nightclubs, shopping mall, supermarket, separate beaches for every hote, pools, different sport activities. We went to this hotel first time, although i've been to SHESh before and we loved it. I just came back, but already planning a trip back in September to the same hotel. I think, this would be best recommendation. I highly recommend this hotel. Theme: HotelPrice: US$180 and up » Currency ConverterComparison: more expensive than averagePhone: 206-960-0842

Domina Coral Bay Harem is the newest among the Domina Coral Bay hotels (Aquamarine, Oasis, Sultan, etc) all located on the vast territory, which reminds you a little town. We chose this hotel because of the promo price, and because it was new. I think we were among first guests in 2006 to live there. The definite advantage of the hotel was that all its facilities and furniture were new, bright and shiny. The name, Harem, reflected on the interior décor in lobby and in the rooms, with oriental chandeliers, cushions and small sofas, while the bed was covered with baldaquin. All the amenities were spotlessly clean, and room service was efficient. The hotel is located the further from the beach (up on a hill, aprox. 5-7 min walk). those who don’t want to walk can use the shuttle service (tuk-tuk), which will take you to the beach, as well as to any other place in the vast complex. with all stops, it usually takes around 15-20 to get to the beach. So it’s much easier to walk there, especially after you have figured out a short cut. The private beach is divided by hotels, but it doesn’t mean that you have to stick to your patch. You can go tanning/swimming anywhere on the 1.8 km bay, with the exception of a private beach reserved for private bungalows. The beach is equipped with beach umbrellas, sunbeds, and lifeguard service.
The hotel has a spectacular coral reef, and if you are into snorkeling only, it makes no sense to go on the snorkeling trips that the hotel or over tour agents offer as you will fell that you have been taken advantage of (at least this is how I felt. Ras Mohamed was windy and offered nothing new compared to what I’ve seen near the hotel). Harem’s AL package included free access to several restaurants located at the territory. The dinner options included El Mastaba, a kebab restaurant (Egyptian) and Alhambra, Moroccan cuisine. You could also have lunch and dinner at Wadi, fish restaurant, which we preferred to a good (but very Italian) cuisine of the hotel\s restaurant.
