Wheather in December and January
by Elena_blue
I have been to Sharm from 2 until 7 of January. Wheather was fine. During day it was sunny and it was very pleasant to swim, many people were on the beach to swim and sun tan. I had also a day cruise to Ras Mohamed where we all enjoyed snorkelling. After sunset wheather was a bit more chilly so that a sweater was necessary.

Adieu Mr. Butterflyfish :)
by pikuu
"This is the end / Beautiful friend / This is the end / My only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end / Of everything that stands, the end / No safety or surprise,/ the end / I'll never look into your eyes...again"
I'm sure Jim Morrison didn't sing these words thinking about Chaetodon lunula :)) - lovely yellow Butterflyfish. But just this song appeared in my mind during the last diving in the Red Sea. And... also my favorite Butterflyfish appeared "to swim Goodbye". But it didn't look as sad as I did ;))
This is not the end Mr. Butterflyfish and all the fishes and corals from the RedSea. I'll return someday, for sure!
Swim shoes
by LiamJackson10
I would say take swimming shoes with you. I tried my hardest not to stand on the reef at all because it damages the coral but its hard in places not to catch it with legs or feet mostly. The coral can be sharp and i see a few people with cuts on there feet from it. i had swimming shoes and they helped alot with this problem.
Diving in Red Sea

If you want to try this for the first time here is a great place to start. It costs about £35 for about an hour, includes your wet siut and gear, and about 40mins under water with a guide. If after this you wish to do more you can go out for day dives at an extra cost ( about £30) . You don't need tobring any gear its all included. We went to The Camel dive club and they were excellent.
