Its opposite the new Naama Shopping centre and approx 200 metres from the private hotel beach.
The rooms are spacious and decorated in a modern style. I would say its 4 star accomodation.
Staff are helpful and friendly
Facilites are good, food is ok. We had bed & breakfast which is more than adequate as there are so many fabulous places to eat.
Its the second time I have stayed there and would probably do so again due to the location.
The pool is quite large, but I prefer the beach as it can get quite busy.
I was lucky enough to have a nice big room with sea view on the top floor. All the facilities are high by european standards.
UPDATE JANUARY 2004 *** This hotel has recently had an annexe built into a mountain in naama bay and been extended in a massive way.
A whole new series of apartment villa style accomodation has been erected and must say its more than impressive. The manager of the hotel, Mr Mohamed Fadel took Sarah and I on a tour of the new construction and we couldnt believe our eyes.
You have to travel to the site up a mountain by golf buggy. The landscape and architecture are of an amazingly high standard.
There are some free standing villas of a real luxury standard and also some blocks of 12 rooms. I would definately stay here on my next visit in August 2004. Here there is a private pool and bar area for residents here, seperate from the main hotel.
Some of the villas are independantly owned by various Saudi Princes and other high rollers. If you get the chance to be a guest at this hotel, ask them to move you the annexe its the nutz!!
