Good choice
When I decided to go to Sharm for a vacation, I had a really hard time deciding about the hotel we'll be staying in. Considering the reccomendation of a friend, the choice fell onto Noria Resort in Naama Bay. And it was a good choice. Hotel was clean, cosy, staff was kind and the food was good. Only minus is the hotel beach because its small and loud, but there are plenty other beaches near, so with a little effort, you can enjoy more beautifull beaches.
Unique Quality: We booked and a room with a pool view and it was amazing. We were accomodated in a smaller buliding surrounding the smaller pool. And it was great, because after a hot and fulfilling days before going to sleep we went for a little swim and hang out wit friends at the pool. It was the best thing! The other plus was that the hotel is at the really good place for younger people who are willing to explore Sharm. The centre of Naama Bay with all the shops, bars, restaurants and clubs is across the street, and if you want to go to Old Sharm or 1001 Nights Centre you'll only need about 10-15 min by taxi.

Hi
Me and my friend ar travelling to stay in the noria resort at the end of march, Can anyone advise as to whether the nightlife is any good?? Alao is it expensive to eat and drink in Sharm, anyone know if you can do a day trip to Caoiro??

No, nightlife ist not good. There are some clubs and a Hardrock-Cafe, but don't expect a stylish crowd as in Ibiza or so.
Yes, Sharm, in particular Naama Bay, is ridiculously expensive. Prices as in Europe.
Yes you can do day trips, but it is a six-hours-drive (oneway), ie you leave at 2am, are in Cairo at about 8am, leave at 6pm, back in the hotel around midnight.
