Well worth finding
The Lotus hotel is located next to the Pyramisa about 20 mins wlk from the centre of Luxor. Its quite new and has a mixture of Egyptian and foreigners but based on the bizzare breakfast I would say there are slightly more Egyptians. The rooms are big, spacious and clean but the place is a little characterless. The pool area is however very nice and it was very quiet so you can enjoy the pool to yourself most of the time. There's a restaurant and snacks are reasonably priced. This isn't a bad find for around $40 a night.
