Nightmare! with a capital: NIGHTMARE!!!

I almost hate to write this because I love Hurghada so much, but I think I have to. I don't know where to start, but when I walked in I knew there was going to be a problem. The lobby is dark with old wooden furniture, the place reeks of cigarette smoke because 80% of the guests are all smoking at the same FREAKING time! The reception staff is lazy and not at all helpful.

The room was semi-clean the sheets on the bed were dingy. The bed actually looked like it was busted. The towels in the bathroom didn't look like they had been washed in since who knows when. The bathroom sink leaked water on the floor all night which made this giant puddle on the floor, I just had arthroscopic knee surgery a few months earlier and there was no way I was going to walk, slip and fall down in there!

The front door looked sturdy enough but wouldn't shut properly. The entire night I stayed awake because I think there was a dove trapped inside the air-conditioning unit and he cried all night.
When I went to ask that they send someone to get the poor thing out before he dies, his response was "No big deal, turn up your television set!"

The food was atrocious, nothing in the dining hall resembled food. I can't believe they actually offer you full board! (Well I guess I can believe it because the food is so crappy they couldn't give it away!). The only redeeming quality in this hotel is the head chef, he was the nicest guy in the world. I didn't have the heart to tell him the food was so bad instead, I opted to start my new diet while I was there.

And get this, all for the low, low price of, 60.00 USD per night!

I would have taken pictures of the place while I was there, but I didn't stay long enough to get my camera out!
