Visit the Bedouins

Some people say that the bedouins arent really bedouins but actors from Hurghada. Whether or not that is true I can't say but it was a lot of fun and gives you an example of how the life of a bedouin is from where they get their water, raise their camels, and how the family structure functions. If your outing does include a visit with the bedouins dont give the children money bring them sweets instead. It was funny when a man in our group attempted to give a little girl who was about 3 money. She took one look at it and threw it at him disappointed that it wasnt candy. After all what does a 3 year old want with money?
Others gave the children balloons or small toys which they really seemed to enjoy.

I have never gone to Egypt and not gotten bit by one of the many varieties of insects waiting to gnaw on you. They usually come out in the evening until dawn. Do not forget to pack Bug Repellent (DEET) and Anti-Histimine medication for the itch.

Ordinary at the first sight. Choice of 'stones' is quite fine, and guy owning the place, Murad, can give you very good prices if you talk to him nicely and show friendship mood and respect. necklaces

Excellent sea food at extremely good prices (fish - approx. 4.5 Euro per piece; calamari - 3 euro per plate, lobster - 35-40 euro/kilo). The staff is very friendly and speaks different languages. The restorant has e huge view over the main Sekkala street.
A downside for some might be the fact that they don't serve alchocolic beverages. The fish was amazing !!!!
Hurghada

Hurghada was founded in the early 20th century. Before one the foremost tourist resorts of the Red Sea coast there was a small fishing village.
But, i must say, that Hurghada still is a city under development.
