Transport from Hurghada - Luxor - Hurghada

I Need to travel from Hurghada to Luxor and back on the 4th/5th of March.
Does anyone knows an good address for a transfer.
I found private Convey VIATOR but they are quite expensive if you take the last option back to Hurghada. approx 300 EUR for 2 persons.
I am looking for transport on the 4th late afternoon and back to other day also late afternoon.
your advice is welcome

Why dont you visit Ohod Tours is oposite Hor Palace Hotel, about 150meters from McDonalds in the New part of Hurgada. You can not miss it.
We used it on our travels from Hurgada to Luxor,Sinai & Cairo.
You can get seat on bus in an convoi to Luxor for €20.
We found it to be very good and do what it sasy on the tin, so to speak. The ONE thing I liked about them is that they are mambers of IATA, so you have some protection on your travels, and you know that they have to keep to some standards.
When we were looking to get trip to St Katarina monastery on Sinai, I chek all of the Tour agencies in Hurgada, and many of them are own by dodggy Russians(lots of Russians visit Egypt) but they were very expencive & muddled internary. Also not realy clear what you get and safty.
One thing what grated my nerves was that they were in your face,hard sale & not mambers of any offitial tourist body.
The reception at the Hotel sugested Ohod Tours, and when we went & had chat, price was around 40% less, no hastlle, no hard sale and very good explanation of what to expext.
I can not tell you how refreshing that was, as everything in Egypt as is baksheesh & hard sale.

Hurghada, known in Egypt as Ghardaga, was at one time just a simple fishing village. Almost nobody knew this place 30 years ago in 1970th.
British have paid attention to Hurghada first. They searched for oil there a and small fishing settlement became known to oilmen owing to these searches.
First Soviet "tourists" appeared in Hurghada in 1960-70th. Then Egypt and Israel were at enmity rigidly. After capture by Israel of Sinai Hurghada has turned to the important strategic military object. The Soviet experts helped Egyptians to create there a military base and airdrome. Transformation of Hurghada in a resort has begun after Camp-David's peace agreements (1978). The former military air base has played the important role in transformation.
The chief of local military garrison obtained investments from the government and succeeded in this business. Therefore tourists from Russia and countries of the former USSR are always welcome in Hurghada.

My friend and I becames ''friends", for the time being at least, with the recepcionist from our hotel, and one night we went out together to this place. It's just 50-100m's from Roma hotel. It's not bad, if you've come to see european way of paritying. The good thing is that it's not overcrowded because the place is huge.
Not many locals visit this place. The reason for this could be the price (30LE) and the fact that is too far from so-called "Egyptian Hurghada".
You see all these dancing girls? They are all Russian. The performance is interesting, but not very original nor authentic. What ever makes you feel comfy.

Really excellent. Ask for Hamdy. He is the cooker. One of the best. He was my "friend of the day" every dinner.
"Eating hours" are from 6.30PM to 2.00AM in two restaurants, Yacht ad Marina Bar, Dolphin Bar... You always have 20 different kinds of salad, cookies, meat... For every lunch and dinner there was a soup. Seven days, fourteen meals and never same soup.

There are MANY surrounding Hurgada, you can choose! Whatever you pick, you won't regret it! Long, deserted beaches, lots of fish, corals, shells, turquoise water... Some are very touristy and commercial, so I suggest to avoid them, although that can be fun as well, it all depends what you're looking for.
