The sun is the second advantage of Hurghada which attracts thousands of tourists from over the world. If you don’t want to spend your holidays in summer – Hurghada is one of the best choices in autumn, winter and spring.
I arrived there on April, 14. We had +5 in Moscow then. Hurghada met me with +25 of air and +22 of water! When I departed on April, 22 it was +30 of air and +25 of water. Even in winter months the air temperature doesn’t fall below +20, and water temperature – below +18.
That’s why Hurghada is good for those who want to warm their bodies frozen in winter!

light clothes, but something to cover in the chilly evenings if you are visiting out of the summer season lots and LOTS of sunscreen, after sun body milk, pills for diarrhea besides the usual photo/filmiong equipment, be sure to have underwater camera! If you don't have it, you ca easily get one there, they are cheap, 60 to 100 pounds (depends if you want one time use, or to use more times), which is 10-15$.Then you'll be able to take pretty photos like this one! hats against the sun, sun glasses, snorkeling equipment (flippers, masks, breathing pipe, even a diver suit if you prefer)
Grocery Shopping

This is a reasonably priced grocery store in the Sakala area of Hurghada. Within walking distace of the hotels in the area it is a good place to pick up snack food and more importantly WATER.
The staff are friendly, helpful and surprisingly will point out when you have handed them 50 Egyptian pounds accidentally rather than 50 plastres. There is no coin currency so this is an easy mistake. Water

and other hygine items I beleive I bought two 1,5l bottles of water for under 3 Egyptian pounds. 3 pounds is about 40 euro cents.
Good Eats at the Right Price

After shopping downtown one day, one of the shop vendors invited us out for a late lunch. We obliged and he took us to El Mina. I couldn't believe what we got for $6! Three whole fish, grilled, a side of rice, some bread and our drink. Yep. Definitely a place to eat when the hotel buffet gets old.
Red Sea

Near of coast there are in water many beautiful colourful little fishes.
You can take a boat and visit 3 reefs around of Giftun Island. The coral reefs are colourful and very beautiful. If you don`t want to snorke or dive - you can take a boat with glass bottom and you will see too the beautiful fauna and flora. In Red Sea there are many dengerous fishes: baracuda, stone fish, shark...... so be careful when you are on the reef!!!!
