Since I stayed there outside the peak season I got really good prices for this very nice hotel with a view to the swimmingpools and beach. (you dont want a room from the other side with noisy traffic..even if they are cheaper). Normal prices are 3 times higher.
All rooms with aircondition, private bathroom, tv, telephone and balcony/terrace. The hotel has its own private beach and 3 swimming pools.
Very nice breakfast is included, both egyptian and continental food.
Unique Quality: The view from the rooms in 2nd/3rd floor facing the swimmingpools and beach.
Directions: El Corniche is the long beach street where you find most of the hotels.
We stay at Sand Beach Hotel for two weeks. (charter flight via Moscow - 460,-$ per person for two weeks)
We were satisfyed with Sand Beach Hotel.
Hotel is located close to Downtown (Dahar), so if you, for example, like to buy some souvenirs or take some coffee, or smoke sheesha pipe out of hotel - everything is close to you :-)
Unique Quality: There are 3 pools, sports club (they called it "Health club"), couple of bars, jeweller store and, of course, good beach with small coral reef.

I went to corall reefs and swam among beautiful fishes for 5 hours. I have never seen such a beauty. I was like inside a fairy tale.
You can also see these fishes in Aquarium in Hurghada. It is located near Sand Beach Hotel.

A couple of friends and I are thinking of spending a week in Hurghada next month and someone recommended Sand Beach Hotel. Has anyone stayed there before and how was it?
its a fine hotel but not too close to where the night action happens.
Try regina style, sea gull, old vick. They are cheap and at the center of the action.
Dont miss the Papas Beach club (open air dancing place).

We stayed in this hotel in spring 2003. Sand Beach is good, i like it :-)))
It's close to Down Town, not very loud, but as i said - good! And i like that there coralls are near the coast :-) For snorkeling - exelent!!!
Inreality - still it's one of our favourite hotels in Hurghada :-)))
