Steigenberger Al Dau Beach Hotel

My cousin's came to visit and stayed at this hotel. Married couple, early 40's with 2 kids, one 16 and one 8. They loved it. Plenty to do for the teenager, including football, watersports, and swimming, and loads of other kids the same age. Top class food by buffet and also A la Carte restaurants. Fantastic service and beautiful rooms with sea views. My cousin's said it was the best hotel they have stayed in, and they love to travel, and have stayed in some really nice places.

Unique Quality: Amazing pools, too many to count. Almost lagoons, with waterfalls. Snooker room. Lovely bars and cafe areas in a huge lobby area. great rooms, with sea views.

Directions: Village Road area, all finished and very clean.

It claims to be Hurghadas most luxurious hotel. Well, I am not sure about that but it certenly is a very nice Hotel. In scale from 1 to 10, I will give it 9,5. It is brand new hotel and some bits and peaces are stil missing but overall I had a gret stay.
I was on half board, breakfast and dinner were buffet style. The food was simply fantastic! The huge variety was on offer and still one could allways choose clasic-somer grilled ( in front of him) meat and french fries.
The outdoors were stunning, the pool, the gardens, the beach...everything.
The room was large with very big bathroom and balcony overlooking the sea.

Unique Quality: Hotel spa was great but on expencive side. French service- French prices, but still well worth the money (average treatment was about 100 euros).
However, just using the facilities was only 50 euros for 7 days.
