70s resort..not for students: Desert Rose

3 night stay in a resort in Hurghada on the Red sea Shore. Great facilities but very cheap food, cheap drinks, cheap service (it takes hours before you get some help if needed), no animation, access to the sea is very limited....NOT typical at all. I recommend taking a field trip snorkling, scuba diving or in the desert.
Price: included in our package. 3 pools
Shopping centre in across the street (not much more expensive than in other place: do not buy papyrus, it's fake!)
Internet access: very expensive: 10-15 euros per hour.

I will be traveling to Hurghada soon and staying at the Desert Rose Resort (supposedly a 5 star hotel) in Hurgada.
I will appreciate any info on the hotel, especially the beach and hotel food.
