Cairotel Hotel

The hotel building is quite old and scream for a complete renovation. Rooms are shabby. Carpets definitely need to be washed and vacum cleaned. Breakfast buffet is decent though and offers some variety of foods to select from. Hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. Location: near the nile river.

Cairotel hotel

Don;t be fooled from the internet. Although it's rated as a 4 star hotel, it's not. More like a 3-star rating. Had to change my room twice as the door lock was broken and window couldn;t close properly. The bellboy was really rude and was complaining. Do not rely on the morning call service. Told the operator to wake me up at 7am and they either didn;t do it or called 2 hours later. Customer service was really bad. Remember to bring your alarm clock if you're heading to Egypt.

Unique Quality: Pretty alright for a hotel with hot shower, hair dryer, mini fridge and towels if you're not fussy. Some rooms overlooked the Giza pyramids view. Too bad, my room was at the back, facing the old, dirty buildings.
