Avoid the Europa unless you like dirty and rundown. By association, also avoid DeltaTours, the outfit that set us up with the Hotel from Hell. Also associated with DeltaTours: the bug-infested Pyramisa Cruise Line. Run screaming!
Avoid this dump. The staff is friendly, but the hotel is like an aged cab that's been recycled too many times.
It's filthy, the sheets don't get changed, it stinks of cigarette smoke, and we were told that the best way to cool the room is turn "off" the AC.
The only thing that was worse about our trip was Delta Tours, who uses the Europa Hotel and the bug infested Pyramisa Cruise Line. Avoid Delta Tours, the Europa, and Pyramisa. But do not avoid Egypt, its great people, or its fine security!
Nothing outstanding except the bell boys and the AM restaurant manager.
