Desaglegn has three hotels in Addis Ababa, and call them no. 1, no. 2 and no. 3. Desaglegn no. 3 is the best of them. The hotel is located only 5 minutes drive from the airport, 400 metres in a quiet back street from the upper Bole road (Just behind the UN headquarter).

Desalegn no.3 is a large, 5 storey hotel. The ground floor behind the reception has small twin rooms. The upper floors have big rooms and suites. It is remarkable the same price for all kinds of rooms, from the smallest to the biggest. So book a suite! According to the hotel information at the airport, the price is 66 USD per night. But the bill shows 792 Ethiopian birr per night, which is about 50 USD. (So change your dollar to birr another place first, and pay with birr).

Unique Quality: The staff is very friendly, and the hotel has a sauna and steam bath in the back yard. Continental breakfast is incl. in the price.
It was 5-10 minutes to walk up the side street from Bole rd.
