Hatse Yohannes Hotel, Mekelle: Plenty of hotels to choose from

Although there are many hotels in Mekelle, I would definitely recommend this hotel for comfort and because of its central location.

Unique Quality: The balcony at this hotel is the place to hang out and people-watch in the late afternoon and early evening. The rooms are cleaned everyday and there is also satellite television and phone. With a residency card, you will pay 56 birr a night, and without you'll pay 75 or so.

Service can be a bit slow at times in the bar, especially when it's busy.

The restaurant serves rather mediocre fare in my opinion, but there is a good selection of items.
