Labadi Beach Hotel is the best hotel in Ghana, and I'm not just saying that due to my experience, I'm saying that because it literally is the best hotel in the country. There are not many 5 star hotels in Ghana. It is a very sharp contrast from the normal living standard of the locals. When you arrive on the property, it's as if you've stepped into another world because everything outside of the hotel is a 3rd world country. The grounds are immaculately kept, the food is excellent and I could not find anything wrong about the service. The beach front is part of the hotel, so it is easily acessible for all guests. Also, the hotel is resort-style so your room is on the 1st floor out and away from reception. It feels like you have your own apartment.

we have a variety of accomodations in ghana from hotels to motels,guest houses,hostels etc.we have expensive and luxurious hotels, middle class hotels and cheap ones as well.we have hotels like the la palm beach hotel, the golden tulip hotel, the elmina resort beach hotel, the novotel, the labadi pleasure beach hotel just to mention a few which are expensive and luxurious. we have hotels like the avenida hotel, prince way hotel, bay view hotel etc which are moderate and very nice and we have cheap ones like the bell view hotel, kingscourt hotel,nyansapow in elmina etc.this is just t mention a few.we also have guest houses which are moderate price.there are also hostels lke the ywca and ymca which are very cheap but always filled to capacity. the hotels have good customer care and are safe to live in expect for some few ones which are swarming with call girls.

I stayed in the Golden Tulip, which is a fine hotel near the airport. Otherwise you might head to the Labadi Beach hotel, which has a very good restaurant and is literally on the beach.
The weather's always warm. ;-)

Labadi beach hotel is by far the best hotel I ever lived in. spent six wonderful days and nights. Wonderful reception and service. Great food. The morning buffet as from 7am I think... yummy. Mushroom, bacon, french toast, fresh natural juice.after I left from the restaurant every morning with an apple, the next meal I had was supper.
the gym is however quite small and not too comfortable. Nice access to the rooms from different angles (152). Drinks at the bar at affordable prices, beautiful air hostesses from time to time.
Sundays at the beach is tight with traffic, as the general public visit the public beach. This is an ideal moment to ride a horse. I would have loved to take my room robe with me after the journey for free, but you can't, had to buy it from the hotel. I liked the different varieties of chocolate and coffee sachets replenised on my room table everyday, also the nicely dried and salted cashew nuts. I could also suggest the BELLAROMA restaurant, not too far, if anyone feels like eating Italian.
