It’s an artificial place but it’s an interesting place. Because, where can you have dinner, while there’re crocodiles swimming below your feet? There're also domesticated monkeys. It was a refreshing and relaxing stay in this compound. The bungalows were very clean and the view was terrific. When the ocean is calm and the sun is shinning, you can say this place is like heaven. The only negative thing is, that the kitchen is very bad. But you can always walk to Axim city along the coastline.

Mole Hotel is situated near Laranbanga, inside the Mole National Park. The accommodation is alright and I can’t complain of the kitchen. The swimming pool is very refreshing after a day of walking in the bush. Leave a Comment

When you’re in Beyin for a visit at the Amansuri Conservation and Integrated Development Project. You have two options when you stay overnight, the old fort or the bamboo hut on the beach. You have to pay and collect your key at the Ghana Wildlife Society office, beside the main road. Leave a Comment

Akuma Village has a splendid location on the cliffs, above the ocean and is just a few minutes away of the city-centre. It has a nice shady garden with terraces, overlooking the ocean with fishing boats and a small beach, reachable by steep steps. The rooms are basic with shared toilets and showers, all very clean. The place is frequented by rastaboys. In the bar they have lovely music. Rooms and suites are very well accomodated with new and modern furniture, included stereo and Sat television. Hotel is really very comfortable, owner is a Ghanaian who travelled a lot in Europe and mixes Ghanaian and European hospitalities. The hotel is very clean and provides with a excellent service. Hotel is in a very quiet place and not far from city centre and activities.
The garden: around a nice swimming pool, you will find a combination of English and French gardens, a wonderful bar made around a tree with hundreds of different bottles. The restaurant is also very good. When I first landed in Accra, I was driven to this hotel. After a 6 hr flight from Adis the drive seemed to be a really long one and finally I reached the hotel in a place callled Tesano in Accra. It took me 45 minutes to beat the traffic and reach there. It is a 2 star hotel. To my surprise the hotel was a small one, but the staff immensly friendly and were always up to service me. The rooms although slightly small were cosy. They have a small swimming pool too. The restaurant has a limited menu, so I suggest you venture out after you have tasted couple of dishes as rest of them taste almost same. But the neighbourhood is good and not crowded, you can take a stroll and reach a junction where you can find plenty variety to eat. Overall a comfortable place to stay.
