Kokrobitey Beach Cottage: Kokrobite's Best Guest House On The Beach
We (6 friends) had a lovley stay in Ghana and decided to visit Kokrobite because we had heard so much about the beach there.
We stayed at a very lovely guest house called Kokrobitey Beach Cottage right on the beach front, just 3 house from Big Milly's Place. Its a four bedroom house with a nice kitchen, which was a goog thing for us because we could cook and eat what ever we wanted to. It really was home away from home. The facilities are quite good with, cable tv and air-conditions in every room. The Owner and caretaker were very helpfully too.
It is truly a very nice place to stay if you are a family or group of friends who would want a "home" to stay in. I would recommend this guest house to everyone.
Unique Quality: Its right on the beach front and has a fantastic view from the upsatirs balcony.

Big Milly's Backyard: Back packers paradise by the ocean
If you want to get away from it all, have a laid back time, a charming and unique experience, then this is it. You have sleeping accomodation ranging from spaces for a tent, a dormitory, small single rooms with fan, to clay huts of different sizes, and a couple of "suites". It's very down to earth and a pleasure. Even the outdoor communal shower under the leaves, where you have to fill your own bucket of water is a kick! They have a few self contained options if you don't like filling your own water buckets to shower and flush the toilet.
I was staying in a single room because I went there alone and it was fine, the fan was enough to keep cool.
Did I mention it's right on the beach? It's like a quiet little garden with scattered accomodations, that ends with an outdoor bar, separate outdoor restaurant, and pours right out on the beach...
Unique Quality: The restaurant overlooks the beach and ocean, it serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the food is really good and not too expensive. The drinks at the bar use fresh pineapple, coconut, and fruits for the cocktails or juices. There's a ping-pong table by the bar and nice souvenirs and clothes and artifacts on sale inside and also out on the beach. The staff is very nice and friendly.
Fridays and Saturdays: live music, bands, dancing, bonfire!
Rest of the week: peace and quiet and smiles...
