The only decent place to stay in Nkoranza, in an extremely nice environment, is at the property of Operation Hand-in-Hand. This project it situated behind the hospital in Nkoranza, at about a 10 minutes walk from the central Tro-Tro station.

At Operation Hand-in-Hand, there are a lot of volunteers working for and with the children there. They can stay in one of the bungalows that are built around a central lawn of the project. But most of the times these bungalows are not (all) taken by volunteers so they are rented for visitors, to make some extra money for the children.

There are different types of bungalows: a coupleof self-contained, spacious VIP bungalows that cost 200.000 - 250.000 cedis a night ($ 20-25,-) some smaller bungalows that cost 100.000 cedis and a small place without lights and water for only 30.000 a night. To be sure of a cheaper place to stay then only the VIP bungalows, it is wise to call first for a reservation.

Unique Quality: The place here is unique in Ghana. The surroundings are great: right in the middle of green nature. There is a swimming pool that is also used by the children of the project, but you are always welcome to join them. The bungalows have running water and even more important: hot water! And all the bungalows are very clean and spacious.
