Well my first stay at this hotel was ok. The food was good and service was ok. I had the chambermaids take my uniform home to clean and paid them some dollars for dooing so. Itīs good to make business relationships with people there in this sence. They need the money and do it very well. The bar was ok but once we saw a rat there...Iīm sure it was not the Gin and tonics that made my eyes see this because it was 2 of us.... The second time I came to the hotel I got a dirty room. I went and complained because there was noway that I would sleep in a room that is not clean and they gave me a ocean view room instead. It was realy nice but when the maid found out I had complained she came and had a *** fit directed at me wich I found very rude of her. I paid for a clean room I should get a clean room! Not my problem if she doesnīt do her job! There are some prostitudes at the bar but my experience of Africa is that What bar doesnīt have hoīs in it! Honestly I was always wondering what the ladies were waiting for....hello!! Yes Iīm inocent from Iceland! But compaired to the houses around the hotel this was the best looking house for miles!
The garden was great! The pool was great! They had buffets on sundays and live music in the garden and it was realy good stuff! The pool guy was realy good help for sending to town for things for us and we just pay him a few dollars. He also came out to town with us and took care of us the nights we went clubbing. The service was very good at the bar....we spent alot of time there during our stay in Conakry. It also hleps you sleep if your room is full of fleas and roaches to have a few drinks at the bar and then face the bugs in your room... Theme: HotelDirections: No idea itīs the only whole looking house not made of mud....
