Pemba Lodge: Pemba Lodge, but not in Pemba

Previously known as the Pemba Channel Fishing Club with a world wide reputation for angling finesse. Currently buildings being demolished and the site looks like Heathrow T5. Owners have fishing boats up for sale. Catering is excellent though service slow - but thats the place, natural enough.

Better lodging choices are Betty's Camp, Shimoni Coral Reef Lodge, Shimoni Gardens Resort and for budget types, Eden Bandas. A little further away is a small no frills gem - Mwazaro Mangrove Lodge.

Though all these have shortcomings they don't charge you for them.

Unique Quality: Pool is great, nice views across the channel. The owners like to claim the lodge is their private home so you are probably subsidizing it.
