The hotel by diosh The service was excellent, provided by polite, friendly staff. We remained in touch with Johnston, the doorman, exchanging photos of our home town.He helped organise trips and transport for us, as did the other staff also. I'd never experienced a 5* hotel before, so it was all a delight for me.
The hotel pools were beautiful and well-lloked after.Restaurants within the hotel were excellent. The show put on at the biggest of the restaurants was amazing, incredible dancing, music (traditional & modern). The menu provided us with ostrich,wildebeest,zebra,chicken,lamb,etc.,etc.all cooked on a barbecue in front of us, and carved from huge spikes at the table! We also sampled the excellent Japanese restaurant, although we over-estimated our requirements. It was all so delicious we couldn't leave it and we were provided with a 'doggy-bag'.It was individually cooked for each group of customers at their table. While interviewing places for our clients, we were invited by the management to tour the Safari Park Hotel. We were quickly impressed by it's sheer size, spacious gardens and quality servie, even as guests.
The grounds are amazing - front and back. Safari Park Hotel even has it's own private beach built in within the compound - and compound is the only way to describe the 60+ acres of private gardens and bungalows that this hotel has. The swimming pool (s) - plural - form a lagoon, complete with waterfall, easily enjoyed from the bar/terrace area where you may also have breakfast or lunch. Rooms are amngst the nicest I've seen in any hotel. Huge, spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful decor. If we could afford it (expensive by Kenya standards), we would gladly stay here. They boast being self contained which means once there, there is no need to search for anything outside the hotel. They seem to have it all, including various restaurants which give you a wide choice of international food/cuisine. The services, facilities, amd amenities at the Safari Park Hotel are so wonderful. They are constantly upgrading things, with people running around, working on construction, cleaning, and helping guests constantly. When you come in, they offer you warm towels and juice right away. They have all the spa services plus nice restaurants, pools, a gym, and they had a great dance show our first night there. They serves a lot of local meats like camel, croc, and goat, all served what I call "Brazilian Style', where they come with it on a large skewer and cut a chunk off for you.
Every room was equiped with a mini fridge, TV , phone, a beautiful veranda, nice bathroom, laundry services, a blow dryer...just about everything you could want! Theme: HotelPrice: US$120-180 » Currency ConverterDirections: Safari Park Hotel P O Box 45038 Nairobi, Kenya
