Oasis in Nairobi

This hotel served as our base of operations while in Nairobi, spending a total of 7 nights there. It was a comfortable stay, with spacious rooms. The hotel has a very courteous staff, attentive and responsive, with a 24-hour guard (in case that's a concern for you). The hotel rooms were being retrofitted when I was there, so about half had AC and the others had fans... I was told that everything will be upgraded to AC soon.

Overall, for the hotel, it was a very pleasant place to rest and relax during our workshop. The only quibble I have is about the restaurant, which had good food but I felt it was a bit overpriced.
