Roberts' Camp: Roberts' Camp

Robert's Camp is a good campground, next to Lake Baringo. You'll pay Ksh 300/person.

The showers are clean and the toilets are always provided with toiletpaper.

They have a 'house' tortoise named Victoria, you'll see her shuffling around at dinner time.

They also have other 'pets'... be aware of the hippos who graze at the campground at night and don't place your tent under a marabou stork's nest... I saw what the result was... not a pretty sight.

You can go swimming at Lake Baringo Club's pool for Ksh 200/person/day.

If you're hungry or dirsty, you can go to 'The Thirsty Goat', a very nice place on the campground with delicious food and good drinks.
