Al-Kendi Hotel

My favourite hotel in Tripoli

I stayed at the Al Kendi hotel for the first 3 nights of my recent visit to Libya. The hotel is within walking distance of Green Square. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the bathrooms have plenty of hot water.

The staff were great - very professional and friendly. They made me feel as if their hotel was my second home.

I continued to visit the hotel even after I had relocated to another hotel to be with the rest of my group. Each time I returned to the Al Kendi I was treated like a long lost family member!

The only negative about the hotel is its proximity to a number of businesses that fit sound systems to cars - the noise from the street below can be quite loud at times.

Unique Quality: Extremely friendly and efficient staff. Comfortable and clean rooms.
