Sakamanga: Quirky, half hotel,half museum
Stayed two nights here & loved it. We had the upstairs suite with private terrace which we were thrilled with. There are cabinets with collections of memorabilia in the corridors & carvings & pictures on the walls. The outdoor seating area, crammed with lush plants is a lovely place to enjoy a relaxing drink. I would definitely recommend their buffet breakfast. They open around 6am but they are still laying things out & the delicious platter of pancakes doesn't usually arrive before 6.40. It's worth eating breakfast here even if you are staying somewhere else.
The collections of artefacts, carvings etc on show make this a really interesting place to stay. Fantastic buffet breakfasts.
