Doogles - backpackers: Cheapest and best in town!

This place has doubles in the garden and loads of dorm rooms too. It's very cheap compared to a lot of places around even though it has a nice bar with good food, and a huge swimming pool!
We stayed in one of the dorms which was a bit dark but comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Someone comes around and offers to do your washing every morning and there's a curio shop onsite where the owner doesn't actually over charge you - it's very refreshing if you've just come back from the lake!
The one negative point is that it's right next to Wenela bus station on an unlit dirt road and it's apparently unsafe to walk there at night but it's fine during the day.
It can also get v busy at the weekends 'cos the locals often head down for a drink or too and stay over and someetimes overland tours book dorms there! Unlike us, if you're arriving late at night call ahead just in case!

Unique Quality: Pool, good restaurant and bar, cheap rooms!
