nkopola lodge: nkopola leisure centre

its very nice place very good for a relaxing holiday,beautiful beach,quite place,excellent facilities,sporting activities,swimming pool and beautiful chalets,internet and you can arrange car hire services or other form of transports.

The lodge is divided into two areas the luxury area and leisure centre which offers camping facilities,even if you are looking for cheaper place you can still afford to have a decent place to stay,the camping site is self catering there is a sports bar and a conference centre ,volley ball court at the beach but for other facilities you can cross the bridge to the luxurious side,since you are nkopola lodge's guest you have access to use the swimming pool but for other sporting activities you need to pay

palm beach resort: mangochi's great natural beauty

if you appreciate natural vegetation,palm beach is the place to be,it surrounded with a lot of trees most of them are palm trees,there are lots of different species of birds.its an ideal place for sporting and family vacations.They have very beautiful designed en-suite chalets for couples and families which can accomadate up to eight people.The service is very good but there are no Tv's ,telephones,or internet.If you want self catering you have to walk to the main road or Mangochi town for fresh food or other basic necessecities.The rooms are very smart and well patronised.

there is a beautiful beach bar for beers and other cold drinks ,an italian designed restaraunt which offers international cuisine,water sporting activities,braiing facilities at the beach,a private beach and very beautiful surruondings natural gardens if you are a bird fanatic this is the right place,there is a fish dock nearby you can buy fresh fish from the fishermen.The chalets are beautifully designed there no such chalets in Malawi.

Florence Motel: Lovely Hotel, right on the lake

The Florence Hotel is a small hotel right on the lake. Very clean, thatched roof rooms with bathrooms & perfect views of the lake.
We stayed here for about 10 days & enjoyed it alot.

Great views & beautiful beach, really friendly staff who are happy to organise things for you such as lifts to other areas etc. Great food-happy to do vegetarian food & does a good breakfast. Small quiet bar with kuchie kuchie etc - a nice place to chill out by the lake.
The manager is currently starting up his own internet business, and its also 5 minutes walk down the beach from the very luxurious resort of Club Mak if you need to make phone calls/internet/use the pool(only 500 malawi kwatcha per day) & good food there too.
