 | Kita Reviews | Tips 1 - 1 of 1 | |
Hotels in kita are pretty limited (November 2006) and don't seem geared for tourists, as there is little tourist trade in the area, but this one seems to be about the best. In 2004 it claimed to be 'renovating' its restaurant but seems to have given up all ambition in this respect and now has no bar, no restaurant and no water in the pool. This however only means it is keeping with most others in Kita, so what does it have. Rooms with en-suites with water (cold), grounds you can sit in, easy access to town and very helpful staff. The staff took us to the market and helped us buy food, took us to find a restaurant where we could get an evening meal, and even provided us with breakfast in our room, which I assume somebody brought in.
It has rooms with en-suites with water (cold), grounds you can sit in, easy access to town and very helpful staff. It is also next door to the Tropicana nightclub which played some very good music (DJ Winn was very freindly and seemed to spend quite a lot of time hanging out at the hotel). When we were there it only functioned from 9.00pm until midnight, so had no impact on our sleep.
