Hello fellow travelers!!
We will be visiting Mauritius next week! Can anyone suggest what kind of climate and temperatures should we expect? Also what to wear?

Can't help with specific advice about clothing, as I've never been, but from the forecasts you clearly need to be aware of the possibility of rain as well as warm temperatures. Cotton clothing is always more comfortable in such temperatures than artificial fibres.

Hehe!! It's a filming trip not a holiday! I produce a TV travel programme! I really enjoy it as it's what I always wanted to do! However going in such places for holidays is much better!!! :-)

Take your best beach and casual wear. In the winter months (June - September) light woolen clothing is recommended for the evenings.
Please show due respect when visiting Hindu religious places. Wear appropriate clothing and remove leather shoes and belts when entering the temples..
In Mauritius, driving is on the left side of the road and drivers have to give way to traffic from the right. Visitors wit a driving license issued by a competent authority in their respective countries are allowed to drive during their stay in Mauritius.
A trip to Mauritius will not be complete without a boat ride or a cruise to admire the views of the island from the sea, and to enjoy the sea. I tooked a speed boat ride and it was a very fun experience.
Most of the people in Mauritius are of Indian origin and believes in Hinduism. Their ancestors came to Mauritius from India during the war between the French and British in the 1800s, where the British called for large reinforcements from India which eventually won them the war. Other religions include Islam, Buddhism, Taoism and Christianity.
The houses and buildings of Mauritius are generally very colourful, especially in the smaller towns and villages. Also, the streets and generally clean and filled with lots of people as there are not many walkways along the streets.
