Hotels in Guelmim: Hotels in Guelmim

Hotels here are a bit pricy due to the large amount of tourist used to come here to see what they are made to think by tourist operators in bigger cities as the "real blue men" and the fascinating (which is not that fascinating) camel market.

If you are coming on Friday prices even go higher. I adise you to search for a hotel in nearby towns a few kms away from the town or to deal well the price before you actually stay in one.

Theres an Hotel la Jeunesse on Boulevar Mohammad V right before the Bin Anzarane square.

I took this info from a government site advertising for Guelmim with the names of some hotels:

L’ère nouvelle, 115, avenue Mohammed V. Chambre double à 40 Dh

Bahchich Hôtel, 31 avenue Abaynou. Chambre double à 180 Dh

Hôtel Salam, route de Tan-Tan . Chambre double à 150 Dh

Fort Bou Jerif, à 19 km de Guelmim, en direction de la plag Blanche

A: "A Tajine is a conical cooking pot and also the name of a dish, ie; Chicken Tajine, Fish Tajine, and possibly even Camel Tajine !!"
