Waterfront "Diamond-in-the-Rough" in El Jadida
by Urban_Kitten about Hotel de France/ Hotel Maghreb
Double your pleasure with 2 hotels in one - depending on which entrance you use. This is the cheapest hotel that we stayed at during our trek through Morocco and by far one of the best values. VERY cheap but clean, bright & well-situated. Shared bathrooms were among the cleanest and the showers were hot!! Right along the waterfront, we had views of the fishing boats and great rooftop views. Cheap, clean, cheap, clean!!!!! Did I mention that it was cheap - like $5 Canadian. Very comfy too.
El Jadida, hotel in the centre
by sachara about Hotel Moderne
We travelled from Mauritania to Spain in three days. In El Jadida we arrived in he dark. Some people showed us the way to a cheap hotel just around the corner of one of the mainstreets with a lot of local restaurants.
The man at the reception offered us to use his personal laptop, so we were able to check our flights and send messages home.
The rooms were rather cheap. Our room had no windows to the outside. When we opened the window, we looked at the wall of the praying room nexdoors.
