Essaouira's Friendly Hotel

The Hotel Souiri is in the Medina and very well looked after. The staff are very friendly and will help you out with any problems you have or information you want.

There's both package tourists and independent travellers staying here and I would reccomend it to anyone really who likes to stay in between the budget and middle range of prices.

Unique Quality: Well i just turned up and ask if they had a room for 3 nights with bathroom and they did. The room had 2 single beds but no views. My window opened onto an alley way which wasn't too noisy.

The room cost 220dirhams per night which is about £16 including breakfast.

The reception area was a very nice place to sit and wait for friends or play cards as some people we're doing.

I have stayed at this hotel on 3 seperate occassions now all around the new year and still manage to get a room without booking up but they do get very busy.
