Hotel Restaurant Sahara: The only hotel there

The paved road ends and the sand starts. Few houses around and it's M'hamid, just on the edge of the Sahara. From now on, it's only sand and dunes for miles (or for weeks....). This could be your arrival point or just the beginning of a desert trek, but the only place where you can overnight is this old hotel, ruled by a Touareg called Habib Naamani who wil take care of you and will offer you a very basic room where you better use your sleeping bag.
The owner is a Touareg whose relatives live in Gao (Mali) and he can't go and visit them, because the Touaregs can't move easily in these countries.
He'll welcome you and arrange a camel ride if you want.

Real african atmosphere, camel rides on request, silence and peace, millions of stars in the sky, the Sahara in front you. What else do you want? :)
