Inside the Casbah Taorirt you will be able to visit the old synagogue, which has now been turned into a shop. However, the original structure and many of the odl objects that belonged to the synagogue, have been preserved by the shop's owner. Don't worry about asking for directions, everyone will try to lead you there.The man is a weaver - and in all fairness he was a very nice man, and was not insistent in trying to sell his beautiful rugs. He showed me the synagogue and explained patiently what the old and rusty objects he had on display were used for.
