Redbrick walled city of Tiznit

91 km from Agadir and 107 km from Tafroute this town makes a worthwhile stop between the sights or on a circuit of all 3 places. 15 km from here out on the coast is Aglou Plage which makes a nice alternative for overnight stays. 40 km further south is lovely Mirleft and on further also worth seeing is Sidi Ifni - theres a coastal road from Aglou Plage.

"Red, mud bricked walled city of Tiznit"

Tiznit is encircled by 6km of red walls - giving the appearance of an old city but it pretty much dates from 1881

You can climb onto some sections of the walls - with its 29 towers and nine gates - which encircle the town with 6km of red mudbrick.
