"Old walls of Tiznit"
Tiznit was founded back in 1882 by sultan Moulay Hassan (Hassan I). This is a very important city in Morocco and has great military importance on the french liberation.
Its nice orange wall surrounds a very interesting town with nice places to visit and relax from the strong summer sun.

We had a stop in this beautiful city of Tiznit. Its wonderful castle walls dated back in 1882 made us included it in one of our stops.
On the picture you have the sign just outside the city that point the kms south of Tiznit. You can see Bouizakarne 63km, Laayoune (Western Sahara) 549km, Nouakchott (Mauritania) 1962km and Saint Louis (Senegal) 2257.
"New town"
Apart from the old city surrounded by walls theres a well organized new town where all the new buildings are built.
