Moroccan Bath
by mjleynes
What's not to miss during a Morocco Trip is definitely the obvious! Moroccan Bath!
After (6) days of walking, running, camel riding and driving around Morocco, before our flight we walked in at the Atlas Airport Hotel straight to their SPA. Great way to end a Moroccan Adventure!

Has anyone ever stayed at the Atlas Airport Hotel?
We have an early morning flight out of Casablanca on the morning of the 23rd, so we're considering staying there.
I'd be grateful fro your thoughts!
seeking a travel buddy for Aug 5 - Aug 6 in Casa
by galeena1
Hi,
I will be in Casablanca for 24 hours and would like to discover the town.
I should be out of the airport at around 9:00 pm Aug 5 and will be up for a night on the town. Then the next morning I would like to go to the Old medina and to Mohammed II Mosque and anything else until 2:00 pm before I run back to airport to catch my flight to Montreal.
1- Anyone interested in joining?
2- Where is a good and safe place to have dinner at night? is there a restaurant area where locals go?
3- Is it easy to commute from Atlas airport hotel to the Old Medina and the mosque?
4- any links or suggestions are appreciated.
Gracias Shoukran Merci

* I meant the Hassan II mosque
is it open for visits on Friday during the day? I assume the mosque is closed for the public during prayer time

I think you won't make it in 8days (yes you can but it won't be possible to visit and enjoy the sites) i would be lazy doing this rout as you tent to cover teh whole country; i would suggest to do Marrakech; Desert;Fes and Meknes then retrace your steps to the airport. your itinirary sound (a quick falsh to me) that's my openion!!!!

Sounds good - but when you get to Erfoud are you not doing the must do and visiting the desert! the biggest dunes in Morocco are just there at Merzouga half-1 hour from Erfoud. actually I would assume you mean Merzouga or Rissani for the night rather than Erfoud.
Also the time for the things you have planned in Marrakech you will have to be strong and disciplined to get them fitted in in the time you are allowing -
youi might be trying to see too much in Casa maybe when you could get moving on down to Marrakech where more time is entitled.?
I would also not miss Telouet along the way - turns off the road you take between Marrakech and Ouarazazate at the top of the maiin pass there. Ive got a few tips on the place recommending it.
lunch Id have up in the gorges eg Kasbah la Vallee at Dades Gorge which I also have a tip on. Barryg has good tips too on the Dades gorge for lunch etc.
rather than Tinghr.
Its a very good itinerary. go for it!
