After the freezing cold in the Ryad Salam, we moved to the Farah, slightly less expensive, but a lot less charming. But hey the rooms have CV, what more do you need in winter? The furniture is ugly, the kind of non-descript stuff you find in any corporate hotel. Breakfast was chaotic, nobody seems to know what they are supposed to do. I found three forks on the table but no knife. The merguez and fried potatoes were yummy though. Very early in the morning we were woken by the sound of the muezzin AND the crowing of roosters.
Every time you enter the hotel you have to walk through a scanner, probably because in 2003 the place was bombed.
